This was an amazing place. A good mix of bush and hill walking. Wear suitable footwear as the track can be muddy. Use the walking poles that are available on loan. Amazing view from the top of the walk. Incredible birdsong and cascading river with a waterfall. A novel feature is the old home made hydro scheme. The walk can be done by children if supervised. I would allow at least 2 hours for the round trip. But if you want to gain the most benefit allow more time. This walk is a gem.

Been there in October. Beautiful track, worth to go, magnificent waterfalls, well built stairs, but just a bit muddy on some part of the track, will need to wash your shoes after the walk.

Beautiful walk. Not a hard climb and beautiful views at the top. Birds singing, a relaxing enjoyable experience

A lovely manageable surprising walk. I would go back. Sone places very wet and steep steps, so do take good footwear and a pole if you need a bit of support on steps. Justvthinking about makes me feel happy

Great track for beginners/intermediate hikers as it's not too hard/steep. It averaged about 1 hour in total (not including stops). Halfway you can have a swim in the waterfall. The waters bloody cold so have a dip during summer and when it's hot, its worth it! Also have a go on the rowing boat at the end?‍♂️

A lovely walk. We are not the fittest people, but managed the walk. The views are spectacular. It is quite a climb. Take togs for a swim

Great walk through a variety of landscapes and with the sounds of the abundant bird life . This is a working farm and good to appreciate the farm owner's setting this track up for the public to enjoy and you can see the money and effort invested in doing so... hence the charge of $10 to access it. Went Queens Birthday and it was pretty busy... so good money earner I would think. The woolshed had some classic farm memorabilia which was cool. We wore gumboots as parts were muddy and slippery and I would recommend taking the available walking stick with you for this reason. The waterfall was lovely and at the end is a great picnic spot.

Absolutely stunning scenery. Birdsong was beautiful. Views amazing! However, I do not agree this is an easy walk. It's a LOT of steep uphill walking. The track is Muddy, narrow, rocky and Slippery in places. I would consider carefully if you've not got a reasonable level of fitness. Ie if a couch potato...do your research first. It was amazing though. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Btw I have zero fitness...don't even remember when I'd walked up a hill before today.(noted for context re my fitness levels, my friend, who I was with said it was 'easy') ? hence why I felt it was challenging.
