★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place to spend a day. A small waterfall is a major feature here. The water flow is less in summers, hence it is better after a rain. Nevertheless a beautiful place altogether. Ideal for camping and a day out with family. Ample parking as well. Certain area marked as Armed Forces areas are to be avoided though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never knew this place existed, what a fantastic way for us to be able to see native birds in their natural habit. Its an absolute privilege that anyone can visit this spot, so please take care of it. Follow all instructions when entering to protect the environment and take any rubbish back with you. We saw wood pigeons, Tui birds and fantails on our short walk its absolutely amazing! The waterfall would have to be the Icing on the cake.
