★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wensley's packed and freighted my bike back to Northland after I finished the TA. They were friendly and helpful and demonstrated the best customer service when things went a bit awry. Would definitely use them again if I was down that way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped in Christmas Eve as had stripped the thread on my pedal crank the day before. Mechanic got to work straight away initially trying to rethread it but eventually had to replace the crank. Fantastic job. I was visitor to Invercargill: you're lucky to have a shop like this!

on my tandem the staff member provided some improvised tools and we tightened up, no charge, I appreciated his willingness to help looks like a well appointed shop with lots of kit and accessories

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Save yourself the trouble and go to Dunedin for all your bicycle needs. I asked for a quote had to book and wait a week. Took it in had to wait another week for a call. Very expensive. Rude and arrogant staff who all say something different. Not helpful or friendly, running a monopoly as the only bike shop in town. 0 out of 10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing bike shop with exceptional customer service. I contacted Wensley"s regarding a bike box so I could pack my bike for the flight home after finishing the Tour Aotearoa route. Rob the owner went above and beyond to help me out. It is quite clear Rob cares about his customers and wants to do the best for them. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to be honest, I will never go here again. My sons BMX tire kept popping. I'd changed it twice on my own but the third time it popped I decided to take it to the professionals. The guy that actually fixed it was great and really nice but the lady behind the reception counter was absolutely horrid. When I went in to pick up the bike she was very curt although I tried to be polite and coax a smile out of her. I asked her what the problem had been and why it kept popping and she said " I don't know because we don't have tge time to check all of that". I paid and left. 2 hours later the tire was flat again. Because of this lady's horrid customer service and sour attitude...I won't be returning. Plus I paid for it to be fixed and it wasn't.
