★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to sign up my partner onto my account, showed work visa information, said policy changed and they can't do it. I signed up my account on the same work visa. Went to Westgate Westpac and they were able to do it for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today was my first time ever stepping foot in a westpac bank after 20 years of exclusively banking only with ASB. I loved the look of Westpacs new cashnav app and wanted to inquire about this and opening a new account to attach a westpac visa debit card to.
The rep I spoke with, after being quickly directed to the right bank teller by the helpful security guards was Jae Kim, who is an absolute credit to customer service and the team there, Jae was able to help me search up and provide proof of address despite me not having a physical copy of a letter with me, was very patient as I dug through my emails to find a bill with my current address on it, and effectively used this time to scan and process my driver's license and other required details.
He set clear expectations, time frames and was nothing but courteous and professional throughout the consulting process, as I mentioned earlier both Jae and the security team were helpful, friendly and left the impression that they are an absolute asset to the company.
Very impressed and and feeling confident that westpac is the right choice for my debit card needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to ASB Albany first to open an account today, but the staff there were just too busy to attend us. After waiting for a while, we decided to go to Westpac Albany. The minute we entered there, we felt the friendly atmosphere. One of the tellers ushered us to Christina Mitchell. Christina makes the whole process an enjoyment for us. She is attentive, professional and patient. We highly recommend Christina to anyone who needs the service at Westpac.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst Bank and Customer service for the following reasons.
1- Bank was open on Sunday and they cannot give me bank cheque or cash out of my account.
2- Why do you have the branch open when you cannot process bank cheque or give cash.
3- If someone wants more than 3k’s what do they do on Sunday?
4- I was with car seller to buy car and couldn’t pay him out of my own money
Worst experience ever and i will surely find another bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just went there and tried to deposit money.
The lady couldn't figure out how to use the scales to weight the notes (wasn't many notes) clearly she is to reliant on technology. If you can't count 20s and 50s to 1400 you shouldn't be in a bank. She then got me to wait for a different staff member and then she left.
I have been with Westpac most of my life and they were great but that's twice now I've had very basic issues with the Albany branch which is making me look at other banks now.
VERY disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm just going to open a new bank account. The result was interrogated along while, because I am no income of the housewife has been persuaded me not to open an account! Are you guys discriminating? Finally, a staff member told me that I could not open an account for you today. Please make an appointment and come back two days later. Speechless!
