★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hi, I went to the bank this morning after confirming over the phone from their team about the opening hours as I had to take an hour off from my work to do an important transaction. But unfortunately the bank was closed and this so unprofessional attitude of such a renowned bank. It was really hard to get the one hour off from my work. Need an explanation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Westpac Stoddard Road branch to open an account. I work Mon-Fri and half a day on some Saturdays, which means I only have limited time to go to the bank. I went to the bank on a Saturday at about 3:20pm as the bank is open till 4pm. But the person at the service counter says that they can not serve as its closing time.
I wanted just to open an account...not applying for a loan or nor had any queries....just open an account and I had the required documents with me. But the guy at the counter kept on saying that it is closing time and they can not serve...it was only 3:30pm...not 3:50, not 4. He gave a free advise to go to St Lukes branch the next day.
Its a bit disappointing to see that Westpac (or this particular branch) stops their service 30-40 minutes before the closing time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 days ago I went to deposit some cash through Atm. Maybe because they were not very neat when put in, the deposit was not successful. But the cash was kept in the machine. I tried to call their 0800 number but never got answered after waiting for at least 15 minutes Contact the branch still no one answers. I just can't believe that such a big bank has no connection with their customer at all. I wonder how I can talk to them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I deposited cash via the ATM on Saturday and the moment I placed the money in the machine it shut down. In absolute panic I rang Westpac 0800 number the lady who took my call was not reassuring at all causing me huge anxiety so I went into the branch as soon as it opened on Monday morning and the lady at the counter was extremely helpful, supportive and today they rang back to check if I had received the funds into my account (which I had). Thank you staff of Westpac Stoddard Road.
