The chicken salad was pretty terrible - really small and just a supermarket salad swimming in some sort of sauce. I thought it was crispy chicken but it was these weird bland noodle-type pieces of chicken

Service was friendly and you get your food quite fast. I had Hanoi pork, but it was more fat then meat. My friend had an Vietnamese salad, that was good.

Ordered from Uber Eats and received peanuts on the salad, despite having requested, in all caps, no peanuts. S/O is allergic to peanuts. Wouldn’t be nearly as annoyed about this, (it’s hospo, mistakes happen), if we hadn’t specifically ordered from this Where’s Charlies to avoid the EXACT SAME ISSUE, which we’d the Lambton Quay branch FOUR DAYS AGO. We get this almost every single time we order Where’s Charlies, either in store, or through an Uber order, no matter where we go. I’d never make a fuss if this was a one off thing, but such a serious issue with such alarming consistency did concern me.

Was very disappointing, i got the banh mi. Not only was the bread stale, the meat was cold. I believe this was because they burnt the first one and in a hurry to give me my food cut the heating process short. Will not be going here again and would advise people who goes to capital market to pick another one of their many delicious options.

Pho was a massive let down. The broth was nice but it had barely any meat and only had a small portion of beansprouts as the veg. Where is the Vietnamese mint, and lemon? They also didn't give me any chili which I didn't realise until I got home.

Bhan Mi and Pho were excellent, $21 for 2 people is not too shabby, shame they didn’t do Vietnamese coffee. Only downside is the only seating is in an area filled with birds trying to eat your food. Good value for flavour ratio and worth checking out if in the area and fancy some Vietnamese food.

The beef pho tasted really good and was thermally hot as requested. Service was fast as it was off-peak time. The lean, protein portion was a decent amount as were the finely-chopped herbs (coriender). No Vietnamese herbs though; a couple of bean-sprout strands did peep through the noodles and the wedge of lemon was a nice garnishing touch. The overall quantity seems to be less than what is served at other WC franchises and the steep but smaller diameter of the serving bowl is part of the problem. This bowl shape, with its steep side, also made it more difficult to get at the soup and there were no spoons provided. I was not aware of the "other sauces" as per one other review but we did receive a small amount of pickled-chillis and sauce as requested; go for the former as it has a good kick (if you like spicy). The broth was tasty and not greasy but if you drink say, half of it, you may get quite thirsty soon after (indicating that msg was present, assuming you're interested in what's really in your food). Admittedly WC performed better than expected given the nature of the Capital Market's premise.
