★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We played the inaugural Wainui Good Folk festival here in January. It is an awesome place to hang out and bring family. A beautiful scenic location with lovely people. We loved our time here and WILL BE BACK!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff when booking online via phone, Gemma who greeted us on site & Tony our liaison over the 3 days. Great green space & place, clean tidy grounds, the most beautiful birdsong from early morning to end of day. Stay here, relax & enjoy.

But due to an instructor for the Coastering, we had to replace our daughter's glasses after he threw the glasses at her when she was waist deep in sea water. Even more disappointing, she had given them to him to carry in his wet bag, and we have had no response to emails or phone calls regarding this.
Finally had a response and the new camp director recognised the responsibility of the instructor. We have been reimbursed half the cost of replacing the glasses. Thanks Camp Wainui.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i went here for camp for a school camp in year 6/7 both times it was GREAT, i love everything about this camp, the instructors were so nice! both of these camps powell village and Wainui heights were amazing!
overall i loved this camp so much!
