★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered their food on Uber eats and it arrived piping hot and nothing had spilled. The squid tentacles were 10/10. The honey chicken was 8/10. The fried egg noodles with chicken were 8/10 and the crispy chicken with fried rice was 10/10. Overall great experience and the staff even wrote a thank you and drew a smiley face on my bag :) would definitely order again!

New-ish management.( one year)........ignore old reviews.
I'm a regular at lunch and go back constantly as it suits me perfectly with its offering of good quality dishes.....my favorite being the spicy Sichuan chicken .......all served with fresh stir-fried vegies, sauce and steamed rice and a flask of chilled water by the ever smiling proprietor, Yoyo.
Its a winner on the vegetable front for me .....this is not watties frozen but well prepared fresh carrots, broccoli , caulie and the like and all with the basics: garlic, onions, mushrooms.......What's there not to like.?
Oh and all that for $13.......!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good portions. Ingredients tasted fresh but seemed a bit plain maybe that was the lack of msg. Took 40 mins to receive our food on Friday night, quite busy seemed like difficulties managing deliveries/delivery services and eatin. Nice toilets and heat pump.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the "spicy" eggplant on rice. It wasn't exactly the flavours I know the dish to be but nonetheless it was a good dish. The rice had the aroma of jasmine cooked the way I am used to in Chinese restaurants. The value was great. It was only $13 for lunch and they give you a fair amount of food. They did NOT cheap out by putting in lots fuller cheap vegetables like onions and carrots like some places do. Ingredients were fresh. My only recommendation is to cut the eggplant in long strips like carrot sticks instead of slicing diagonally. So it "melts" in your mouth. The place is clean and service was friendly. Couldn't ask for more. I look forward to trying a few other dishes to see if it holds up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste of the old Young Shing is back!! The fried chicken is just as crispy and delicious as it was 10 years ago. The fried rice has a nice depth of flavour and the portions are huge. For $13.50 at lunch, this is a superb deal!
I advise everyone who loved the old Young Shing prior to the renovation to come back as everything is back to normal taste wise. (I know when it reopened about 4 years ago it wasn't so good haha)
