Affordable Westshore Holiday Park is situated at the northern gateway of Napier in the sunny Hawke's Bay, just 5 minutes drive from our lovely Art Deco City and Marine Parade attractions. Our camping ground is positioned in a sheltered location on 1.5ha of well-maintained, park-like grounds. Walking distance to swimming/surf beach, which is patrolled in the summer months. The unique Ahuriri Estuary Boardwalk and Bird Reserve lies on our park boundary.

We arrived after the office was closed, but their out of hours procedure couldn't have been easier we found our cabin quickly, and were pleased to see how lovely and clean it was. We particularly liked the partition between the bunks and double bed, giving some level of privacy. The ablutions block was old and tired, but served it's purpose, and was just as clean as the cabin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful welcoming committee in the form of Willow (a gorgeous gentle doggy behind the desk) and the staff. This pet-friendly camp is brightly decorated and well maintained. We had a lovely stay here and particularly loved the walks nearby.
Would definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are not nice. The toilets are very cold on winter. You have to pay for the hot shower and sometimes no working. I put my food in the freezer and someone taken it. They are not responsable for that and neither check their cameras. They offer wifi but only working in the kitchen. The worst experience in New Zealand camping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here during the very first covid lockdown, owners were very friendly and accommodating to us in such an uncertain time. The full time residents at the park where also extremely friendly. Free WiFi and cheap showers, very close to the town. Does anyone know what radio station plays in the bathroom? Because we loved it.
