★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is pretty good here, not fatty, not saturated - chips are always nice & crisp. Burgers are a bit average but do taste good - fish - i don't ever buy fish at a fish'n'chip shop - i prefer it fresh not frozen.... Staff are always polite too & i am a regular here, weekly... It's pretty busy/constantly patronized, so that's a good sign to. It also sells wet fish & some potted shell fish. Give it a go/try. Prices are pretty good to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great value for money! I got the family pack 7 and service was very fast and friendly. The doughnuts are a really nice treat too! There is plenty of specials and options to choose from and lots of waiting space inside - we look forward to coming back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best chips in NZ. Best vege burger in Auckland. This place is an absolute gem. I can’t recommend them enough. Always fast. Always polite. Sorely missed during lockdown. I just tried to make an imitation vege burger and only appreciate Alfriston Gish and Chips more now!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 4 kids and I love the food from this shop. The fish is always beautiful and not bitter like some shops can be. Its never greasy and the chips are the best. The hot dogs are always fresh tasting. I say that because we had a very bad experience at another shop with consistently off hot dogs.
This is our shop of choice for fish and chips and we are sadly missing it during this lockdown period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased fish and chips from here last week, was all good, nothing too great. I think they have us flounder for the fish which was interesting. Overall it was fine, if your hungry and really want fish and chips I would pop over and see these guys.
