★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, relaxing, accommodating and thoughtful resources available. The owner is a wealth of knowledge on what's great around the bay of islands and although the place is on the same property as the owners, it doesn't feel like it and it was a peaceful private accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for 6 nights and it is in a great location. Hosts very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We went on as many trips as possible with Great Sights and had very full days. Sorry to leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great views from most of the front elevation rooms of this well appointed apartment! Well maintained, lovely bedding, spacious rooms throughout. Kitchen well equipped. Could potentially sleep 7/8 people, so could do with more than one bathroom and that was the only downside to this fabulous place! 4 adults and one toilet at times was really good awkward! But would highly recommend this jewel on the hillside!!

Unfortunately, there were lots of ants that got into our food, the shower had no water pressure, while they said they had SKY it had been turned off for the winter and being school holidays their grandchildren upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants. Not good for trying to get a baby to sleep. Hosts were friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful place to stay, close to town, clean, tidy and spacious with fabulous views. John was a great host who was very helpful and provided great local information about what to do in the area. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
