★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just stayed at the Braemar Lodge and Spa in the deluxe spa suite. It was the best experience we have had. The bedroom was stunning and huge! The electric fire place was beautiful. The bathroom and outdoor hot tub was stunning.
The staff were lovely and welcoming. Housekeeping did an amazing job.
The restaurant staff were excellent and the food was delicious.
We will definitely be coming back.
Would highly recommend staying here ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so looking forward to staying at breamer lodge and I wasn't disappointed!
The rooms are huge and we were lucky enough to have a spa on our balcony. It was great. I had read some other reviews and was a little nervous after reading some of the cleanliness comments.. but i had nothing to be worried about..everything was super clean.
The restaurant was lovely, portions generous and delicious.
The reason this isn't scored 5 star was because I didn't feel like the menus in the restaurant were large enough, especially to cater to those who don't eat much meat, and also the bed.. huge and it was extremly soft , which didn't do my back much help (lucky there was a spa pool to jump into on waking up!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For luxury accommodation it wasn’t amazing, few little things added up. Spa pool was dirty and smelt, the glass on our balcony was dirty. One of the shower heads was broken and the indoor spa bath was also broken. Also soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty. Had everything for a coffee in the morning, said milk was free to use but there was no milk there.
Restaurant was nice but slightly run down, not really any ambiance. Our main meal was nice but not $40 worth. My breakfast order was wrong then when correct one was brought out eggs were undercooked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. This has to be the biggest room we ever stayed. The bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious. Clean. Service was good.
My only concern is that the shower door was leaking when you take shower and we had to clean it all the time. Just need to fix the seal on the bottom. No big deal to ruin our stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great views and spacious room. We enjoyed our stay at the end of our trip however there could definitely be some improvements on service. The person on the check in desk was pretty disinterested and didn’t greet us with a smile or any questions. Just told us to sit down and checked us in. Also watched on as we grabbed a luggage trolley and brought our own bags in which I thought was pretty surprising for the price of a room a night and how it’s promoted as luxury. The girl on the desk was on her phone as we again had to get and use the bag trolley on check out. I would have thought assisting guests with bags was a bare minimum for a hotel? Room service was supposed to be 24 hours a day but no one picked up the phone when we rang about 3 times at 9pm. Fire in room didn’t work for ambience.
Over all ok but probably would do with more staffing and price is steep for service we got.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding for a weekend escape.... a peaceful location 7km from Hanmer Springs. Rooms are huge and amazing... each room has a private spa outside and incredibly clean room... the bathroom was impeccable. The restaurant is wonderful ... food is top class (The desserts were incredible). Friendly staff (front of house and restaurant) treated us with great respect and attention. My wife and I were so pleased we chose this place for our 20th wedding anniversary... we're never staying in noisy/busy Hanmer township again... this hideaway lodge is the place to be!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet location, good outlook. Big rooms but dated decor with some furniture showing major wear and needing replacement. Bed was large and comfortable. Outdoor spa was relaxing although patio area could do with some decent furniture and colour to cover the block walls. Good views of the mountains from the patio but most spas facing the dining room wall not the view. Included breakfast was basic, bacon, eggs, sausages, very 1990's. Staff were friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was absolutely enormous! In room spa was fantastic. Bed was very comfortable (and also huge!). Located 7km from town, with the last km being a gravel road, but a quick and easy drive. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Our boy enjoyed the smart TV in the room.
