Newmarket yard in Auckland, shocking service with timings communication and getting parts delivered. Had to wait 7 days when told it take a day or two for a tow ball. Had to hire another ute for 5 days! Talked to manager, cant do nothing but say sorry for all this?’l?! After spending $35k

Being a repeat customer wanted to buy another brand new car from them their service was non existent., yes we know they don’t have the car available but at least attend to customers as one came after 20 mins and said he will get some one and the other whom came after 10 mins probably was not in a any mood to sell. and nor was interested in helping. Useless place, don't bother with them - Lesson learnt

Poor service and misleading website implying they have stock of cars that won’t be in for months. Put a deposit down to be told so and then told I had to wait several days for a refund to even start being processed. Poor communication from their staff who have no concept of the term customer service. Wouldn’t go anywhere near this place ever again.

Purchased a brand new 2021 Mitsubishi Triton three months ago with 15km on the clock. Noticed during the first week of ownership that the steering wheel was off centre when travelling in a straight line on level surfaces, so raised this with the sales rep and was told I could bring the vehicle in any time to have it looked at. Since it wasn't a critical issue, I figured I could have this fixed at the 1,500km free initial service. Now, because I didn't get a chance to ring up to book in for it, the ute had clocked just over 2,000 km when it was taken into the dealership. I had also asked for the rust on the drive shaft coupling and exhaust brackets to be fixed at the same time. The service advisor initially tried to charge for the wheel alignment saying I could have hit a pot hole etc despite me raising the issue in the first week of owning the ute. I was also told I had exceeded the 1,500km first service requirement yet the service booklet states that you have until 2,500km to complete this service. Clearly Andrew Simms are not familiar with the servicing requirements for the vehicles they sell! All in all a little offended for them to suggest that I caused the issue in the first place even though it had been there from day one and despite me raising the issue early on. I won't be purchasing another vehicle from Andrew Simms, will be taking elsewhere for servicing and don't have much confidence in them if I ever have to make a warranty claim through them.

Dropped off my 2019 Kia Sportage for a service, got damaged by a staff member and was arranged to be fixed by Andrew Simms Kia, got the car back with broken clips and still damaged plastic, I emailed AS Kia with no reply so have had to go via my insurance to fix the plastics, now from the new paint on the bumper from Kia in 3000kms ive got 20 odd stonechips (where as i had a small amount before) - in future, go over and beyond if you damage a customers car rather than the bare minimum

Arthur was very professional dealing with the customer needs. I just got my company car 2 weeks ago and I can say that I have no regret dealing with him at Newmarket branch. Appreciated all the time and efforts.

Bought a new Mitsubishi Triton from these guys in late 2016 and have regularly had the car serviced every 15k as per the warranty requirement. The service costs always seemed overly expensive: never less than $1000 and up to $3500 for the most recent. Over the past 5-6 yrs We have spent around 20k on servicing up to the 150km mark where we are now- almost 2/3 the cost of the car new. Most recently the clutch needed replacing and these guys quoted 6.5k to repair. They would also need the car for 3 days?! I thought this was too expensive so I got a quote from another Mechanic who came in half the price and the car was repaired on the same day. Needless to say I went there instead and have had no issues. Given the fact that we had spent nearly 60k with Andrew Simms over the past 5-6 yrs I personally feel that we were treated poorly and were probably massively overcharged looking back. Also worth saying that for the past 3 prior services, I had mentioned to the sales staff that we would like to get a quote on trading our vehicle for a new model and never once were we contacted back? Based on our experience, these guys are all about selling you the new car and trapping you in a rip off service plan with a bunch of slack sales support staff to top it off. We will never ever buy a car from Andrew Simms ever again and if I could give a negative star rating, we would. Avoid this place like the plague.
