★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is completely off the beaten track, and we never knew it was there before we decide to drive over the dam and follow the road a bit. The very scenic road winds its way along the canal to the next dam where the large main dam sits just below the falls. The whole area has a very clean feel, and is a great place to go exploring with the kids if you want yo climb up the main dam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just breath taking. So unreal and amazing.. well worth the trip out there. To get there go over the dam and drive down the road following the canal. Youl get to a gate whicb hou walk from to get to the rest of the falls. This is definitely a hidden gem. Off the beaten trails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a gem when driving further inland from Lake Aniwhenua. The access to it is through a gate that’s closed 3:30pm everyday. The car park is small so is the platform.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a decent size carpark at the gate, there are tables at the gate and also at the toilets where the Signboards are. Then walking behind the toilets you can access the top of the waterfall, then if you carry on following the road you can get a front view of waterfall.
