We stayed at Aspen House with friends for a week and it was one of the nicest places we have stayed in anywhere in the world (and we have travelled in over 50 countries).
The location is close to town yet quiet and private. The rooms are all large and comfortable.
There was plenty of room to have โyour own spaceโ whilst holidaying with friends.
Loved the hot tub on the back patio, log fire and BBQ. The front patio was perfect for us to have a glass of wine and watch the Earnslaw Steam Boat make its trip up and down the Lake โ it was simply enchanting to us.
In the kitchen we found everything you could dream of to make our home away from home, including a fully stocked pantry of basic ingredients (a really nice touch) and coffee machines and fridges on both levels. The movie room was great with plenty of videos.
We found the house was nice and sunny and warm and had the gas fires and underfloor heating for winter.
All 4 bedrooms had a TV and an ensuited bathroom with fluffy white bathrobes (very lux) and complimentary toiletries.
I wish we had stayed longer and we will certainly stay again when we are in Queenstown.
I have attached a pic of the view from the living areas, bedrooms and balcony out over Queenstown that we enjoyed every day - simply beautiful.

โ โ โ โ โ We love New Zealand, especially Queenstown for postcard-perfect views, the many day trips and adventure activities available and to enjoy a well-deserved break. Aspen House was everything that we had hoped for as a luxury stay with spacious rooms is impeccably designed to create a laid-back luxury haven. We especially enjoyed luxury bedrooms, stunning bathrooms, the outdoor hot tub, the underfloor heating, the warmth and ambience relaxing in front of the fireplace, perfect for a truly memorable and enjoyable stay.
