★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Travelled on holiday for the night. First time ever staying at this place was looking forward to having a shower at the end of the night. Unfortunately it was the worst shower I have come across in my history of staying at a hotel or motel. Tried again in the morning and the same thing. It was a shame that’s one thing you look forward to at the end of the day or to start you’re day. I had my son and family member with me and they couldn’t even have one to. I will not be staying here in the near future when we return to Te anau.

We got a free upgrade and the room was very big and spacious.
Clean, tidy and had everything we needed for an overnight stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent friendly and informative staff. We had 3 nights in a king suite which was very spacious and immaculately presented. Only a very short walk to the lake front and just across a park to the town and cinema. Would definitely stay at this motel again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean with good indoor/outdoor flow in summer (especially on the ground level). There is a beautiful outdoor lawn and garden in the back that encouraged families (and other guests) to play cricket and other yard games. (They have created the perfect soft lawn for bare feet -- a real treat after walking the Kepler Track.) There are also two BBQs and outdoor seating and tables (the office will provide a 'BBQ basket' -- tools, paper towels, cooking oil, etc. -- upon request). Easy walking distance to the grocery store, town centre, and the lake. Highly recommended.
