★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big blonde girl and old lady is not knowledgable in the products in store. They dont know what polarized sunglasses is either. Blonde girl is condescending when I said "dont worry about it, I will buy sunglasses on the internet." To which her reply "oh it exists?" Honestly I wouldnt shop here again. Customers pay more money at this shop to pay for your overpaid jobs and you cant even do that properly so why should I buy from you. Anyone who is reading this, just go to babyfactory down the road it is cheaper and more variety and they know their products and they smile.

1. showed us how the carseat we would like to buy working;
2. helped us to try with a demo carseat if it fit in our own car;
3. matched SmithCity's special off;
4. Most important thing was they do have STOCK!
As new parents, we were trying to buy a baby carseat from SmithCity across the street first, we were serviced by two staff from SmithCity. First one was rude and provided wrong information and quote (around $550, the promotion offer was $399.00) due to her poor understanding of the carseat she was selling. The second one was friendly but did not understand the product as well. And, SmithCity did NOT have stock!!
Then we came to the BabyCity, they did have stock, provided us the best service. Such an excellent shopping experience. Thanks BabyCity, first choice for us in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We shopped around baby shops all over Wellington and the Hutt Valley looking at buying a big ticket item, a mountain buggy pram. Baby City was the best customer service by far and were so helpful answering all our questions. The staff are well trained with their product knowledge and it really made us feel better about spending hundreds on a buggy. I wish I knew the name of the assistant who helped us, she was so helpful and I felt compelled to write a review, which Is something I don’t normally do. Thank you baby city for all your help.

If they do not have a specific product you are looking for they are more than happy to see if they can get it in for you. They made becoming a first time mother a lot less scary.

Got a car seat and base for my pending arrival and it couldnt have gone smoother. Absolutely recommend. These guys know their stuff felt really good leaving there and got my car installed with no stress. Absolutely recommend ?
