Doctors and nurses are awesome. But the phone lines are something else. Takes ages to get thru and you will be lucky to even get thru. This problem has been going on too long and ots so frustrating and cant even book online anymore

I have revised this review since I originally posted it. Long story short I had a number of bad experiences and one in particular that left me hurt and disheartened. Healthcare should be just that Health CARE. I am grateful for my experience at this practice because it taught me as a living being I am worthy of good Health Care and so I found it elsewhere.

Useless lot they don’t even bother answering the phone tried all day to get through I’m sick today but next available appointment is next week smh

If there was an option to rate less I would. My mum & I have been patients for a very long time. There has never been a time where we've booked an appointment & we've been seen in under 45 mins (which we understand as some patients need more attention). Receptionists aren't the most helpful. They don't explain extended visits (or the Dr; whoever is responsible for notice) until 2months later when you receive a letter in the mail saying you haven't paid for the visit. Not once have we ever skipped out on a bill, so you can only imagine our shock to see this. When asked about it & wanting an explanation, all I got was a nurse accusing us & when I explained my side, all she had to say was "this is our policy" & "no that doesn't sound right". Maybe before you go ahead accusing & not listening to what I have to say, investigate the matter first. The only thing that proves is a lack of accountability & professionalism. It's hard having to believe them & this fee when clearly there was another patient before my mum that went in claiming they were her. How do I know this? the nurse asked multiple times for my mum's name as she was confused because she had already called for my mum & seen someone else. When the matter was explained in today's visit to the "nurse" or whoever she was, she just said "no that doesn't sound right, can't be". Clearly, she wouldn't have known as she wasn't there. I remember exactly who was in the front desk & which nurse I spoke to. I then went on to explain how on the same day I spoke with the nurse about my blood results which I have been waiting on for a long time & was told my iron was very low & they had already prescribed iron tablets. This was a shock to me also because I've been waiting & no one has prescribed me anything. Posting this here as I don't want anyone else ripped off by them. Be smart guys, note down your visits & keep track of how much you pay. It's sad how after so many years of being a patient of theirs, this is how we get treated. DO BETTER BADER DRIVE DOCTORS MANGERE!!

My doctor is Dr Kavika and she's the best that's why I've also rated it with 5 stars. The doctors and nurses are great and very helpful but the receptionists are completely useless and unhelpful. You almost have to fill in their sentences or questions when you ask them a question and that's if they even speak English or understand you or understand what they're saying. The fobs there are the worst. They need English lessons badly because they're making islanders who can speak and understand English fluently look stupid. They think they own the clinic and speak to you like your nothing and look down on patients and think because they're behind the desk that they think they're nurses or doctors. My sisters are both nurses at middlemore and one is a Nurse Director with Masters and the other one is also a Registered Nurse and now a Nurse Manager in two MIQs. To you receptionists, think people and humans first for your Customer Service skills, it goes a long way if you really want to give your communities a good service and stop your pridefulness because you will fall and fall hard guaranteed. Oh, and I'm also a kiwi islander and English is my first language and New Zealand is my home. Think before you open your mouth or do anything Receptionists! The doctors and nurses need good receptionists not idiots.

Absolutely appalling behaviour from the admin staff. The teenage admin girl doesnt have customers service at at all, trying to argue with me like we're in high school. She needs to be fired!

Had covid vaccinations book for family. When we arrived they informed us that had no vaccinations left for us. Explained that we are not walk ins but had booked it online through the bookmyvaccine website days ago. The staff insisted its not their fault and they had tried to contact us to tell us not to come. They not only didn't apologize but were very rude when speaking to us. We had our mobile phones on us the whole day and have no calls or texts about this. However, they didn't care and repeatedly said it's not their fault. Ended up going to the unichem across the road to get it done. We even got a text the next morning saying we had missed our vaccination booking!! Appalling service and no apology whatsoever. Will never recommend and never return.

Been with these doctors for 20+ years, and now might have to change doctors simply because I can't get through. I understand that with covid, it's been crazy busy and overwhelming, but for 4 working days starting from last week Thursday, I had been calling 10 times every 30mins (I can't live on my phone all day) and I have not been answered. It's so sad, but I have to say goodbye to this clinic. Can't keep doing this everytime I need to be seen, and it's been like this since covid hit.
