β β β β β Been waiting for more than 3 hours and still haven't seen the doctor. We were told we are the next and it's been 45 mins since they told us. Do not recommend at all

β β β β β I am not a registered patient here, but I come here to bring someone who is.
Be prepared for the longest wait times (sometimes approaching 2 hours) when you do not have an appointment.
Strangely, be prepared for the briefest consultations when you do get to see a doctor.
A male nurse scolded me once for sitting in his chair in the cubicle while waiting for my patient friend to get a pre-consultation test done. I did not see any markings on the chair that it was not for public use, nor did he use the chair when I got out of it.
Update: on another visit with my friend. Expected wait time 2 hours. We cannot leave to run an errand before consultation. 2 doctors on duty. One for booked appointments. One for queue. 8 patients in wait area. Time for my friend to change to a better clinic I think.
Recent update. My friend tried calling the clinic multiple times to make an appointment with a doctor. No answer for the entire day.

β β β β β We had an appointment at 2pm, at 4pm we were still left waiting in the rain with no indication of how much longer we would have to wait. My partner and i were also told if we left to go bathroom or get food we would lose our place in line. We had to leave without seeing someone as we had other obligations. We will be signing up at a new doctors tomorrow.

β β β β β It's a system where if you had no appointments then it works great for you.
Usually when you get sick, you can't wait a week for an appointment which is why I changed to them but lucky I have the time to wait when I need to see them.
Not a clinic for everyone since everyone is time poor.

β β β β β Still waiting to be seen by the doctor despite booking an appointment, almost 45 mins later. Itβs disappointing to read the reviews and hear the consistent excuses and complete disrespect towards the time of their patients.
For months Iβd been complaining of swollen tummy and infection, I was told I had a fibroid and to live with it. I demanded to see a specialist and one month later I had to have a full hysterectomy. The unprofessionalism and lack of care is not the New Zealand we all deserve. Donβt accept this rubbish. Next youβll see a response to this post, with excuses!! Itβs the only thing theyβre good at!
Viv- firstly, youβre incorrect! I was certainly not upset, please donβt suggest false statements as you have, what I was, is Inconvenienced, disrespected, and then dismissed by you with an excuse.
Try to find it within yourself to show empathy! Furthermore your reviews are so appalling as is your medical professionalism, you seem to skim past my hysterectomy.
You should focus on your medical practice and you wouldnβt need to forage on social media making excuses to compensate for your inadequacy.

β β β β β Dr David Oxner is the best GP there, very accommodating and listens carefully to all your feedbacks, very sympathetic and caring. The queque system must change, ( except for real accident and medical cases ), the patients must be served on a first come, first served basis ( including online portal bookings ) irrespective of what their medical issues are, it is very unfair for patients who came after us to be served first, standing on the sun for nearly 2 1/2 hours in the morning, then have to come back again in the afternoon for another 2 hours wait is very frustrating indeed. It seemed like it is based on the receptionists ( or manager's discretion) of what your appointment purpose was for, as they seemed to always asked you this same question, and then still put you into the bottom of the list anyhow ? ( according to the importance of your visit). I have seen several times how the paperwork were shuffled around a lot when your clinic was open before. Had it not been for the efficiency of Dr Oxner, I would have gone somewhere else . He is truly an asset to your clinic. Keep up the excellent work Dr Oxner! All the best for you & your family this 2022 ! Take care.

β β β β β Love dr Len Brake, he is the reason this medical practice has been my family one for so many years. Understand itβs a very busy clinic and for the most part staff do fantastic job at triaging and treating patients. Have had two bad experiences close together with the clinical nurse specialist however being rude and cutting me off over the phone and booking my son at the wrong appointment time. Other staff have been kind and got me through to speak to a doc
