★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter had her eyebrows waxed, second time with you. First time the technician was amazing! Today my daughter left feeling very sore and even several hours later it is still painful. I think a gentler approach especially with your younger customers is very important!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty unhappy with the experience at Albany. Emailed to try and rectify with customer care about the situation but no communication.
Waited at the counter for over 5 minutes trying to get the workers attention as she was hunched over playing on her phone.
Was taken over to the brow bar to get my brows done, usually the ladies at Ponsonby are super friendly and make you feel comfortable while they are doing your brows, the Albany bar was the complete opposite, I felt pretty uncomfortable the whole time. She was so negligent with my brows that I have red, painful burn marks under and over my brows. They have been stinging, raw and peeling for the last 3 and a half days. Super unimpressed as I expected much higher quality and to be treated with care at this place. Couldnt apply any makeup to my eye area for my birthday a few days post brow shape and tint. Overall the shape and tint is nice but it was not worth the pain that I am still in.

An amazing result from my eyebrow wax + tint treatment. Han Z was extremely professional. She did an amazing job and was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I am extremely happy with my end result and my overall experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being in lockdown my eyebrows were in need of a shaping and wax. I arrived at Benefit and there was only one lady in the booth who was already working on someone else so I was standing there for 5 minutes waiting for her to finish (one other staff member arrived on shift and walked straight past me to leave me standing with no acknowledgement). When the lady was finished with her other client she called me over and scanned my vaccine pass, she then asked me to sit in the same spot the customer previously was sitting (without sanitising the station first!!), I sat down and mentioned that I wanted a little bit of an arch, she then proceeded and said that she will show me on my left eyebrow what she could do. She waxed my left eye and showed me the mirror and I was in complete shock. She had taken off most of my eyebrow hair and left me with a slither!! I immediately gasped and told her that this style had gone out 50 years ago and it made me look awful and I said the last girl that I got my brows done from here did it perfectly! She panicked and offered me a free service and to come back for another free service and said she will do the other eyebrow a different way.. she then did the right eyebrow and it was still thin but much better than the left eyebrow. As she was doing that there was a line of customers starting to form and when she had finished she quickly got up and asked me for my name and number (which was already on the system as I pre booked) and quickly said that she will make a note for next time to be free and then she started serving the next customer in line (didn’t even have the time to reschedule me not that I’m ever going back to her!!). On the drive home my eyebrows were in pain and I thought that this was because I hadn’t had them done in a while but I was wrong! I woke up this morning to find that my skin is burnt from the wax that she did!! It is red and starting to form a scab. With someone who already has anxiety issues this has left me so insecure and ugly! I previously went here and never had this issue, the other staff were professional and there was always at least 2 people in the booth. Any professional eyebrow technician would know that you can’t make the hair grow back straight away if you accidentally wax it off so best to do it in smaller stages to not wax off more than the client wants!!!
