About BestStart Dannemora
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te Whāriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing childcare centre. The teachers are so loving and caring like it was their own children.
The receptionist knows every parent and little one by name.
My daughter loves going to "kindy". She has so much fun there and has learnt so much. I love hearing about her day when I pick her up after work. She always has sooso much to say ranging from what they had for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, what activities they done and what her teacher/s said and what she learnt. They are like a second family.

Nothing is too much effort for them and they keep parents informed at all times. My kids have developed and grown so much since starting at BestStart Dannemora. Highly recommended!

My son used to be very shy and was a picker but now, he is eating whatever nutritious food the school serve them and learned new interactive skills. We have peace of mind leaving my child in this kindy before we go to work as we know he will be well taken care of. Teachers are just so passionate and helpful in every way they can.

All the staff are awesome, caring and attentive, friendly and approachable. It's a place where you can build real relationships with the people who help us raise our little people.
