★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally pathetic service we bought a sofa set recently waited for 1 single one sofa for 1 month to get that delivered with and paid extra money to get the special mechanism in it and now today I got it delivery and the driver just dropped the stuff outside my house in such a bad weather when requested he denied to help us out, that’s ok now we took it inside then we found this is not the same thing that we have ordered , after calling them immediately they said there is nothing written in our notes here so now again we have to wait that person who sold this to us he will come then he will check and again we have to wait for their decision , we are just done with all this and now it’s just not acceptable to wait more for you to review and check and get back to us. The sofa that was delivered before has a scratch on it rather than getting it solved immediately you all have to follow procedures irrespective of the time we spend in travelling to Lower Hutt We don’t have the time and patience to again and again visit the store to get our issues resolved, we paid such a exorbitant amount not to get bullied and hassled.
Never ever recommend this store !!!

The store manager was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and impossible to deal with, and the delivery staff were just as awful. I've been waiting over two weeks for a bedframe only to not be contacted when it arrived in the city and have to follow up to arrange delivery myself, the store manager, Ricky, was the most unhelpful man I've ever met. Would not recommend phoning the store unless you would enjoy being abused.
I live alone and cannot lift the frame alone so I asked them to drop it in the room about 15 steps from the front door, which they couldn't do as they've been told to leave it at the front door.
Overall shocking service experience, which is sad because at every other Big Save I've shopped with they've been fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good morning Big Save Lower Hutt, I posted a review on Big Save Upper Hutt's website 3 weeks ago and received a reply from Brittaney to email the store and they will get back to me. Up to date I have had no response from Big Save regarding my UpCare claim. Could anyone at Big Save contact me please? The Up Care policy was sold to me by Big Save and now no one is responding to UP CARE. This policy is not what is being sold as and people will be waiting there money. Regards Adele Coetser.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT BUY the Upcare mattress protectors! They don't work and are a waste of money. We were sold one by the lady working here with a load of promises like if it didn't work we would receive a replacement mattress when that's not the case at all. We were offered a steam clean instead.

Also the Male shop assistant was a great help, answering all my questions. The chair was delivered today and is extremely comfortable. Great place still to shop at .
