Update (2018): During a recent visit, had their Spicy Fish Egg Casserole? that contains tofu and assortment of vegetables in a refreshing and spicy broth. The main ingredient is of course fish eggs (from codfish?) - an incredible food rich in micronutrients and Omega-3 fatty acids. Enjoy it with a bowl of steamed rice and side dishes to balance the spicinessβοΈ

β β β β β Free refills of side dishes, and generous portions. Authentic taste and good availability of options. The price adds up quickly though.
I recommend the spicy chicken, comes with a bowl of rice and isn't overly hot.

β β β β β Stopped by for lunch here. The menu is fairly large and has quite a few items you don't see in other Korean places. I quite like the range of different noodles. I had the jjolmyun, a chewy noodle with spicy sauce. I really liked the chewiness of the noodles. The egg and potato side dishes are also quite nice.
Nice place for Korean food even with a group.

β β β β β This is the 2nd time I came to this restaurant. I ordered BBQ pork and squid. The location is a bit far from the central. The price is reasonable to the food quality. The dining area is very clean and cozy. No oily floor and table. The food is delicious. There were four types of side dishes served. I extremely like the fish cake side dish. The service is always friendly. This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in downtown. I will come back again and again.

β β β β β This is our second visit now and Bon Ga Ne never fails to impress us. Staff are so friendly, foods taste amazing, the atmosphere in the restaurant is clean, quiet, and spacious. We love it! It is our go to Korean restaurant in Auckland CBD?

β β β β β we came on a thursday night, atmosphere was pleasant, server was lovely, food was delicious!!! + the free side dish was so good! even the water was lovely and crisp. we will 100% be regulars and come back again. recommend the rice cakes & octopus ?

β β β β β omg I found my new fav Korean food store !!!! I miss my country Korea sometimes but I canβt visit to Korea at the moment like almost 3 years.. because of the COVID so I miss my mums foodβ¦ you know all memories are there :(( so when I ate this Bibimbap, Kimchi stew, Spicy pork bbq gave me some memories with my family and my mums food yeah.. anyways taste was 10/10 really tasty look how beautiful the colour, also side dish were so amazing but we couldnβt eat at all only because we are full ? If I have a two stomach definitely can eat all :)) all dishes were fresh ingredients!! I really enjoyed this food and made my day!! definitely will visit again βΊοΈβΊοΈ
