Worst experience ever! Very rude and extremely not customer focus. I was unable to use voucher before expiry due to unforeseen reasons. Voucher was a gift and paid cash by my sister. Kay refused to honour the voucher and said she will only honour voucher if I pay half of the value of the voucher. Meaning she will pocket a extra $30 which most likely will not add up in her books and I’m sure Inland Revenue will love to hear about that. Usually businesses value their customers and will accommodate them. Not hung the phone up while a customer is still talking, twice! Do not recommend untrustworthy Kay. First impression I received what you saying hello, I was not sure whether I was at the right place, so I asked is this Kay from Devi Nails, and am I bothering you since it could be after hours. Your response was yes, what do you want. I’m not sure if this is a lack of English or not but from a customers point of view that’s poor phone manners. You’re immediate response to my request was a no. You did not allow me to explain, I tried to explain you kept on interrupting. Then the phone went dead. I rang back trying to defuse the situation and said sorry were we cut off? Knowing you hung up on me. I tried to explain that the initial voucher expire date was unreasonable and that I don’t reside in Hellensville or near suburbs. You then said I’m unfair and started to insult me. It was only natural for me to get defensive. I did not yell or shout, I simply raided my voice a bit and if you hear the conversation you will clearly note there was no yelling or shouting. Devi Nail & Tattooing Helensville my whole stance is that the original voucher expiry date was extremely unreasonable and not practical. It was given over the Xmas period which 13 of those days I couldn’t make use of it as it was a Xmas gift and given on Xmas day, 13 days after purchase. I have contacted 10 beauty clinics and all of them give a min of 12 months expiry dates on their voucher, I’m happy to post on their page to get the confirmation in writing. This allows the client copious amounts of time to fit it in their busy schedule. Yours however was only 3 and a bit months. Not to mention this was during the busy Xmas period and January holiday period. I don’t have a lot of time up my sleeve since being a single mother. I have to drive 40 minutes to get there and with going to swimming and other activities for my daughter and being the start of school year made it much harder. Devi Nail & Tattooing Helensville I feel with the short notice of expiry and the insisting on paying more after the card expire is not really a fair or honest business practice. I am not harassing you, as a consumer I have the right to describe my experience on review boards, that is what they are there for right? People have the right to know that your business does not give fair expiry dates on vouchers as this may effect them in the future.

Loved being able to book at 6.00 pm to get nails done. Was ready to relax and enjoy the process.

As I walked in there were 3 happy ladies, just finishing off someone's birthday spoil. They had just got their photo's taken too. One asked if I had been before I said "No, my first time here". "You will LOVE it!" she gushed. Devi was gentle and careful, (eyelashes done for a special event). Service, was great & very attentive...even massaged my back, because I had been lying for some time. Highly recommend.

My nails were very streaky and bumpy. Did not even shape correctly.
