My mum visited requiring urgent medications to be dispensed, she was ignored by the counter staff. Another two customers (may i just add they were caucasians) came in after my mother, and they were both served and attended to straight away. Makes us wonder if they're racist or just plain rude and ignorant...! You'd get better help with Life pharmacy or Unichem ?
Add on: Although we appreciate the response from the management, having Asian staff members or having had been informed of such incident does not justify the lack of client care and the unequal treatment of customers. My mother was fuming even into the night, she did not happily accept the apology as the management have suggested. All she wanted to was to get things done so she could get out of there as soon as possible.
As we both have been previous clients with East Care and this attached pharmacy, she was extremely angry, upset and disappointed with the service. We understand there may be miscommunications among the staff and perhaps lack of training or simply lack of care given to all customers. We had high expectations from this longstanding pharmacy.
