★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't bother going up the 'Boyds creek top' walk... Nice forest, but once the path meets the river nothing new to see - just a long ascent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boyd Creek Tops is a bloody hard ascent and is really only accessible during the summer months (in winter it is a spongey bog.) Hours of uphill slogging, suitable only for experienced trampers. The track is really lovely the whole way up but don't forget the bug spray!
