★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot, rooms are so lovely and clean and have everything you need for your stay comfort wise. Fly screens on all windows, which is fabulous! The view from our room is amazing, I only wish the sky's had been clear at night so that we could star gaze with no light pollution. Water pressure in shower really good. Town is only half an hour away so a quick drive will have you at the shops for any supplies you've forgotten.

Great facilities and access to all the adventures in the area.
We stayed before and after walking the Milford then on to the start of the Routburn. Perfect location!
Nice walk, Lake Mistletoe, across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay only 20 minutes out from Te Anau meaning mistletoe lake walk right over the road and mirror lakes just down (15m?) the road. Eglington valley is amazing and only 20m drive away.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. Laundry onsite ($4), wifi mostly available, cell coverage for spark average and Vodafone very average. (yay no phone!).
"The Cabin" is a lovely couples retreat.
Motel units are clean and have a cool retro feel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed 2 nights in the cabin (my 2nd stay there) and 1 night in a backpacker private room and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin is cosy with direct views of the lake and the backpackers has great facilities. The lodge managers were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. I love this place and would go back there any time!
