★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hidden paradise in rotorua. Place for freedom campers with toilets and shower. A place to go for a hike or just simply admire the scenery. If it's ever to hot there is a lake right under your nose so don't worry about that

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit. Often busy but never had a problem getting a good spot. Good childrens playground area. Toilet facilities. Barbecue provided. No problems taking my dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Beach, enjoyed the extra sand bought in since 12mths ago. Toilets are very clean... The only problem is that $20. Per person is way to much for Self contained motorhomes. We would of stayed for $10.pp, and probably come stay more often over the summer.. Looks like locals use the bins to empty their person rubbish..?? we see them drive down, dump rubbish and gone. Is that why we ate charged $20. Per person..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with new flash facilities. Lots of shade, places for kids to play. Barbque area. Safe beach for kids but still a small drop off to clear bottom of 3 meters. Board walk to jump off areas for bombing and goes to other DOC camp with toilets. Lots of work put in by locals to make good tracks and predator free. Great birdlife!! Get in early for parking as popular spot!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lake and good for the whole family. Gets pretty busy in summer, so busy that if you like to set up in your own spot a few meters off the shoreline, people will take advantage of that empty space and sit right in front of your spot/view of the lake ??
