★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Burger King is the heart and soul of Tokaroa. Without this icon of a food chain the town itself would be a shell of itself. I choked on my burger and the staff were kind enough to help me and then gave me another burger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time ordering thru the app this time. Seemed pretty easy to do. And my fries were hot too. Other times I've gone thru and fries weren't as fresh before. The burger wasn't as fresh as I'd hoped though

Asked for onion rings.
Asked for a meat burger for the dog. Just the patty. No bun. For the dog. He's missed his dinner on our travels.
They can't just sell me a burger patty.
I said that's fine, I'll get his burger meat from maccas across the road.
She said that's fine. Go to mcdonald's then and turn me off.
Suggested she pull her head in and provide me with my first order.
Grumpy staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place should be ashamed to call themselves Burger King. The burgers are unbelievably small and so are the sandwiches. The only thing that might worth getting is the chocolate shakes.
This place should be called Burger Princess because of how tiny everything is.

I often pass when in my truck, I use the App to order, walk across the road and normally my order is already to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I try to avoid BK Tokoroa as they always get the orders wrong and one particular female staff member is very rude. The last time I ordered 3 meals. We went through the order twice confirming everything (I have learned this is necessary as they are very bad at getting things right). Got to the window and there were only two meals. When I asked where our third meal was the lady started shouting at me that I only ordered two. Her manager was as argumentative as she was. In the end they prepared our third meal. By this time the other two were cold. They still managed to get 2 / 3 orders wrong but by this time we were so over dealing with them, we left with what we had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a stop for us on our road trip, no baby change table so had to lay stuff on floor to change baby, the trays were grossly greasy underneath that I had to wash my hands again before eating, got our order wrong twice so had to go up with my receipt to advise of forgotten items. Just not a great experience esp on road trip with kids.

Really impressed how clean all the facilities were. The staff are friendly & deliver service with a smile.
Will stop here whenever I am passing through Tokoroa.
