B	Barry Cairns on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On arriving at Cabot Lodge we anticipated your standard Luxury Lodge, but It was much more than we expected, mainly due to the hosts Breidi and Brad who were not only extremely professional but were very warm and friendly hosts. The food was outstanding! and Breidi was always coming up with brilliant suggestions and hand written notes/ maps with guidelines for local sights and places to visit. Being based on the family West Coast Sheep Station was an added bonus as the sheep were entertaining. We have stayed in many lodges in NZ but this is definitely a must Lodge if you are ever in this part of our country. Barry & Christina Cairns
L	Leo O'Sullivan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cabot Lodge is one of Fiordland's best kept secrets and certainly one of the best luxury lodges we have visited in New Zealand. The rooms were Luxurious and the views were spectacular. The Diners and Breakfast were five star plus, and having Brad prepare the meal in front of us and talk to us while he did so made us feel like we had our own private Chef. The farm tour is well worth doing and topped off a great stay. If you want to view a spectacular night sky then Cabot Lodge is the place to do it from. Brad and Breidi were great hosts and no request was too much trouble, they catered to our every whim. We will certainly be back. Leo OS

Brad and Breidi are wonderful hosts who take incredible care to ensure guests have everything they need. We showed up with no particular plans and their extensive knowledge of the area helped orient us for an enjoyable long weekend with both leisure (a picnic on the shores of Lake Te Anau) and activity (a challenging hike up to Lake Marian). The daily meals were all delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We asked for a vegetarian menu which they accommodated with absolutely no issue, and offered some delightful dinner options - including a from-scratch lasagna one night. We highly recommend Cabot Lodge for anyone looking for a beautiful getaway.

The owners, Breidi and Brad are the consummate professionals and the kindest people! We felt so well cared for from the moment we arrived, until the moment we drove off. The Cabot Lodge offers everything one could imagine for a magical stay in New Zealand including: 1) Endless views from its hilltop location of Lake Manapouri, Fiordland National Park and surrounding mountains, and of the 2,000 acres of stunning farmland (home to sheep, deer, ponies and bees); 2) Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds and luxury linens, including every possible amenity (even a hair-straightener!), gorgeous bathrooms with soaking tubs and huge showers, personal touches such as a hand-written welcome note, nightly weather report, well-stocked fridge, lodge-made honey and home-baked goodies; fabulous meals including local meats and produce; 3) Outdoor hot tub with a stupendous view; and 4) Walking trails throughout the property, including one leading all the way to a private jetty. The lodge is also in a perfect location to visit the Milford and Doubtful Sounds and is close by to the Kepler Track, one of New Zealand's "Great Walks", and Brad and Breidi will pack you the most delicious picnic lunch to take on your adventures. We will certainly be returning, as there is so much we still wish to explore nearby, and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. We feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to stay at this very special Cabot Lodge. Thank you, Breidi and Brad for your incredible hospitality and for sharing your paradise!
n	nicky sullivan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment we arrived Breidi and Brad were there to greet us like family and show us to our exquisite room, with a view that was breathtaking. Brad's love of food was obvious from the canapes selection each night to fantastic dinners, scrumptious desserts and an amazing breakfast selection. This paired with great conversations over a wine or a sneaky G&T made our stay super special. The lodge is unique, with a fantastic layout and a luxurious but homely feel, a hard balance to master, but Brad and Breidi have nailed it. The lodge and our room was spacious, elegant and welcoming with little attentions to detail everywhere. To add to our experience the team organised us an overnight cruise on Doubtful Sound which was breathtaking and a must do. We can't recommend Cabot Lodge enough it will always be one we suggest to friends going forward and somewhere we will return to on the future. Nicky and Colin.

A beautiful and intimate spot with great attention to detail and food choices. They are very accommodating of preferences and gave a wonderful farm tour and were so knowledgeable of the area, history and geography. Highly recommended and comparable quality and service to other luxury lodge experiences across NZ.
