Nice campground with hedges around each site. The facilities are modern and very clean. The bathrooms are large and new. We enjoyed the time here and will come again after walking the Kepler track.

Highly recommend you check this place out. Even though we checked in several hours earlier then expected we we're greeted with friendly and efficient service. We booked a powered site, $40/night for 2 adults in a camper van. The sites are quite spacious with hedges around them for privacy. The kitchen and amenities are excellent. There is a large kitchen with sinks, multiple cooking and prep areas, microwaves, kettles and toasters. Bring your own cooking supplies. They also have a large dining and relaxing room. Bathrooms are nice with a private toilet, toilet and shower combination room. Just like a bathroom at home! The laundry is great, machines are newer and $4/load is average. Clothesline, basket and pegs provided. Large dump station, water fill area with a sink and soap so you can wash up after. Everywhere was extremely clean. When we plugged in, our older van kept tripping the breakers. The owner came and helped us and we confirmed it's the van, not the power. After discussion with our rental company we determined our van isn't adapted to the new standards. Very frustrating on Xmas Eve but what can you do. On Christmas Day the owner offered to move some stuff in his shelter so we could try the power there as it was older. They had us sorted out before noon, in the shelter and fully hooked up with full power. They checked with us a couple of times to make sure it was still okay. The owners are good people, helpful, friendly and concerned about guests and their comforts. We were made to feel welcomed and valued customers the whole time we were there. There is a lot of information provided on things to do in the area and they can book tours for you.

Beautiful campsite with lots of attention to detail. You can have lots of private space with your van but also make it more open and talk to others. Plenty of information at the reception or from the owners.

A camp site in a hedge maze close to Doubtful Sound! Lots of room to park and maneuver camper vans. All sites are separated by a hedge which is quite unique. The landscaping is extremely well looked after. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Four showers and six toilets. May be a bit busy in peak season. Beautiful BBQ area with new picnic tables.

Beautifully set out and maintained campsite. Excellent bathrooms and the best ever dumpstation which even has a handbasin with soap! Nice to have fresh herbs growing.

Absolutely fantastic site! Has a new feel to it and everything is obviously meticulously maintained. The toilet and showers felt like someone's home rather than a campground. Kitchen was good too. Our visit started on a bit of a downer as we had booked ahead for Christmas only to find that our old van kept tripping the breakers here. After a call to CampaSouth we were told this was a known problem and any newer campgrounds would result in no power until they upgrade their vans (Google NZ RCD safety regulations). After mentioning this we were looked after and shown another older style plug outlet that allowed us to get power. Spent a great night's here.

So very quiet. I have never seen a better laid out and clean holiday park. This place is RV heaven. The pictures don't do it justice. The warm breeze that brings a small hint of flowers. The very distant call of cattle. Lots of wonderful bird calls. This is a family run park and it's a must stay.

For NZMCA members this park is an excellent alternative to the Te Anau park. Members only campground. Lovely sites. Dump station. Laundry (coin operated). Ablutions have been closed up (need to be self contained etc).
