★ ★ ★ ★ ★ coffee was fine but the scrambled egg was cheesy or made with rancid butter and possibly made from a mix, yucky. The bacon one rasher was crispy the other just cooked and the mushrooms were not cooked enough. I’ve always liked this place but it’s looking very run down and the food is no longer good quality or value. Such a shame as it’s easy to get to and park. I won’t be back.

Pancakes sucked. Plate looked pretty but they weren't even hot and tasted like they were old. Bacon was super crisp but somehow also cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice wee Cafe in a great central location. They happily catered for my coeliac hubby. Even going as far as to show us the ingredients to double check. Prices were very resonable. Food was great coffee was great ! Will come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After ordering cabinet food, twenty minutes later I asked where my food was, I was told they had already sold it, and they would make a new bagel with extra salmon. Waiting another ten minutes I received a flat looking bagel that looked nothing like what was in the cabinet prior with hot slimy lettuce and a small portion of salmon. I was really disappointed with their food as it used to be impeccable. Along with all this there was a lack of mask wearing in the kitchen.I will not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great drinks, berry smoothie was the best. Breakfast was very good, eggs poached perfectly and the best tomato sauce I've had in ages. Excellent service, all staff were helpful, prompt and made me feel welcome. A few other cafes in Christchurch could learn a lot from these guys. Will definitely be back.
