Love my leather couch I got handmade here. Every part if the process is easy and comfortable. I have been buying furniture here for years and the style and professionalism of the staff is fantastic. I don't mind spending more on quality.

Paid $4000 for two sofas, the foam in the cushions didn't last 9 months. We got it replaced only for the same problem to happen again at which point we were told the sofas were "sinky" on purpose and that apparently it's totally normal for the foam to deteriorate like this. To add insult to injury they said we could pay to "upgrade" to firmer foam despite saying there was nothing wrong with the one we have. This was after the manufacturer said if the issue recurred they would swap them out but they've now backtracked and are calling us liars. Total refusal to honour CGA so we're now faced with pursing via disputes tribunal. Just about the worst customer experience we've had so buyer beware.

Happy with product but mix up pricing . Some chairs were not available and we had to wait 6 weeks which was ok but when time came to collect was told to pay incorrect amount. (Phone conversation). I explained I had paid x amount but young woman argued with me and did not apologise when she was proven to be wrong. An β€œOo I am so sorry β€œ would have been nice. In fact she was quite rude.

The customer service at Hunter furniture is average! We have purchased a 3 + 2 seater leather lounge suite, a single three seater couch, an individual chair and now another leather couch over the past 10 years. We obviously keep going back because we like the product but certainly don't go for the service....small update, thanks for the reply 'Hunter Team'. No we are not enjoying our couch, it was due late Sept. We are now told it will be at least mid December, that's bad enough but us contacting you for a delivery update rather than being contacted by your team isn't really good enough.

This review relates to to purchase we made a while back.We purchased a custom spec corduroy couch. Was happy to pay good money for it as it was custom. We paid extra for a stain warranty and chose a light color based on the assurances given. It quickly went off color and when (within the warranty period) we called to get them to come out and have a look the guy from Hunters was aggressive, competitive and generally unhelpful - telling us that the fading was normal and they wouldn't do anything. He was so unpleasant we asked him to leave. After this terrible experience hell will freeze before we buy any more furniture from Hunter Furniture. Warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on, and they sure get agro when challenged on this.

Service there was poor now and sales person was very arrogant, not even bother to check the price. Good job to hire them.

Bought a locally made lounge suite for $5500 thinking it would be great quality. Unfortunately, the fabric became worn within a couple of months and it now looks like something I've let a bunch of cats live on for about 10 years. The store told me this was usual wear and tear, and that this would not be covered by warranty. They sent me a cheap depilling machine to help with the rough texture, but it made no difference. I'm still extremely disappointed with both the product and the dismissive response of the company. I'll never shop here again.
