The Cash Converters Story
Cash Converters began as a single store in 1984, in Perth, Western Australia.
Brian Cumins and a group of partners founded the brand with a simple idea - professionally purchase second-hand goods from the public and display them in a modern, genuine retail outlet.
Fast forward to the present and that idea has grown into an international franchise system that is constantly innovating, while expanding its product offerings to include small loan lending, pawnbroking and a whole lot more.
Today there are more than 700 stores worldwide, operating in more than 16 countries including Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Malaysia, Namibia, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and USA.
Cash Converters in New Zealand
Cash Converters began in New Zealand in 1993 and today operate 22 stores, employing more than 380 people. There are 11 corporate owned and operated stores in Auckland and Christchurch, and 11 franchise operated stores throughout the rest of the country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking to sell, look else where. i tried to sell a pair of brand new RayBan aviators rrp $250, they offered me $25. complete wast of time. The shop is also surrounded by homeless people and the smell of cigarettes. Honestly if you are looking for a place to sell trade me is ur best bet. i would rate my experience a 1/10
Also i am sure at least 30% of all good inside are stolen.

She brought in a laptop worth $350 and a 3D-DS console for $160, and 4 games worth around $100, and you couldn't even find the model number for the console. I could find that with my hands tied behind my back. You told her the power supply to the laptop was faulty, which is a lie, and I know because I'm a qualified computer technician. You gave her $190 for her laptop and the 3D-DS + games totaling a worth of around $500. and you ripped her off big time, I would have been okay with something around $350. I was a shopper at this store often. But never again.

I had Francesca as my customer service rep and she was fantastic it was hard to believe she was training.
She was very thorough and came up with solutions when we hit problems with my application. I am so thankful to her and Cash Convertors, excellent service.
