★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I remember when JB first came to NZ. I was hopeful that they would shake the market up with amazing prices. But it didn't happen, mainly because they priced themselves in line with other NZ retailers. So the only time they are worth going to is during a sale. The rest of the time their service and prices are "meh". It's a shame there is so little competition here in little ole NZ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to buy macbook. I was first time buyer and had no idea. I went to jbhifi for the first time. Did not get proper customer service. Felt so awkward standing there as I had trouble sorting out my payment apps. I asked for help. But they said they were not sure. Came back disappointed. I will never go back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very poor customer service. I went to buy wireless ear buds. No try before you buy despite $300+ price tag. No hearing them before you buy despite being $300+. No product knowledge despite asking for the employee for that area. And yes I waited 5 mins with no service before having to ask at the counter, when the helpful employee called to the the person with there back to me but was chatting with there chums to help. they had no idea about any of the features or differences between the products. Just try at Havey Norman or Noel Lemming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the store looked tired .. the staff where in various forms of uniform to no uniform .. the counter area was cluttered and the staff were busy with their workloads not to be invested in helping a customer purchase a 2,000 dollar new Apple phone. One person who may have been American was very helpful over the phone but his staff were not. My daughter has since purchased her phone elsewhere! Disappointing as we generally have good experience with JB's

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad and rude customer service from the woman that served me. I purchased a laptop and she was not bothered at all. I was an inconvenience as she was unwrapping computer screens and made it obvious when she was asked to help. I was a nuisance when asking questions and the wait time when I decided to buy. Hat off to the young male
staff member that acknowledged my purchase and said easy to use follow the screen set up. Should have had him serve me. Thank you to the Cashier also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremly disturbing man doing security for the store, standing around actively intimidating customers. Made experience in the store nerve wracking. Aftering paying for my good and leaving he reaches directly for my J B hi-fi bag without saying a word snatches it off my. Proceeds to stare at me glance down to the bag and and nod. NOTHING BUT INTIMIDATION... teach your employes some manners

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this store. I went in and purchased a two in one game for $1, and a classic movie for $20. I was stoked, because I couldn't find them anywhere else. They are the best in that they have such a variety of stock, and are so on to, and very friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much.
