★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hazelnut milk tea tasted good, brown rice green tea less good, but both my partner & I ended up quite ill not long after. Not 100% certain it was the tea, but not likely to go back there again.
Also, the Courtenay Place ChaTime store is not associated with Cha Time New Zealand (who have stores in Akl & Dunedin) - I messaged them after getting sick and they were super lovely but said they are in no way associated

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a bad experience here. A small Asian lady who worked at around 17:15 on 10th March was extremely rude. She never smiled and just told us “pay!”, she looked somehow super unhappy. She dropped one plastic cup, so I helped her pick it up and passed it to her, but she just grabbed it roughly, didn’t say anything and ignored me. Surprisingly, she returned the dropped cup to the stack of cups intended for further use instead of discarding it. I could not believe it, she never consider the hygiene. I recommend you not to visit this place and I will not visit there ever again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst Chatime store in New Zealand ever, in my life. The main issue is the customer service from the lady who always there. I don't know her name but she always look unhappy and never smile to customers. I visited 2 times yo this store as I just visited Wellington. Compare to Auckland and Dunedin store, they're ways provides excellent services and high quality of the drinks. My first order was taste so bad, the milk tea and the pearl. Yesterday I redeem my birthday free drink, she said because my member card wasn't come from Wellington store so they actually can't give the free birthday drink. But she said "OK I'll give to you." with unhappy face. i don't understand why I can't use my loyalty card in any store in New Zealand. Definitely I would not recommend this Chatime store to everyone. They should remanage all the system and the service. So sad...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ sooooo gooood I got the matcha tea w/ tapioca pearls (definitely reccomend btw ??) very friendly staff as well the lady serving me was so sweet, a little bit overpriced though but it's a boba tea shop what do you except haha overall very nice boba tea shop, one of my faves!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got the taro milk tea drink and it was all lumpy and had little bits in it (not the pearls) making the drink very thick and flavorless. I couldn't finish it because it made me sick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service is super bad and the lady looked so frustrated having a grampy face. And i ordered 2 large and 1 small taro which i literally felt like vomiting either my friends.
The taro powder was not mixed, the lady just used her hand to manually shake it and the sugar level is not what i asked for. I won't ever recommend anyone to go. I never had an experience like this too. I wish i could possible to give no star at all. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I use to get an Alt milk, brown sugar Pearl tea, every Friday on my way home from work.
Kitty is the only one I ever seen working at this store, all 7 days, my whole year in Wellington and she is over worked and underpaid I swear she is amazing and does her very best and my drink always tasted so, so good!! She always makes a point chat and smile while working so hard.
Thank you for always making amazing drinks and working so hard! Appreciate u and I genuinely think you make the best boba tea in Wellington ? Xx
