★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the Char Ho Fan and it tasted just as good as i used to be able to get at Wok On Inn in Kendal Ave when Ah Hock owned it. Nice to know i can still get that authentic taste in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem in Christchurch central city! Owner is super friendly and runs the entire restaurant by herself - meals do take a little while but well worth the wait. Hor fun (fried rice noodles with gravy) is absolutely delicious and generously topped off with ingredients. Highly recommend a visit! I’ll be going back again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good Malaysian food! I was surprised the owner is not Malaysian, but she told me the previous owner taught her how to make the authentic Malaysian cuisine, and she definitely got it! This stall run solely by the owner herself, so might take time for the food, but worth the wait ?

An absolute hole in the wall, run by a single lady who seems to do everything and the food is amazing and very well portioned and bonus is it is very, very affordable but the only downside is the wait time because it’s run by one person. 10/10 would recommend! Don’t be put off by the restaurant’s interior design. It looks run down but the food is good, will be making regular visits here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legit and affordable 煮炒 food from Singapore/Malaysia. Every dish we ordered was on point. Mapo tofu, tofu with black bean sauce, yang Zhou fried noodles, prawn noodles, for prices averaging $14. The portions were generous and we were all stuffed. I’m giving 4 stars because the waiting time was long so don’t pop in when you’re starving expecting to get your food in 10 minutes - not gonna happen. It’s worth the wait and completely satisfied my craving (:
