★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry guys but you need to work on your meals, chicken burger could have done better with a frozen chicken patty at home, steak meal had no seasoning and steak was tough. Chips tasted like they had been reheated in microwave. Banoffee desert was full of mock cream. Service was excellent and atmosphere great however.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have tried to book here 3 times, on 3 different occasions, with no one answering phones, us leaving messages, booking online. Have never heard back from anyone! Amazes me, when there is so much competition out there in hospitality. Service on the side without even getting in to dine is very poor! Not that hard to return calls/messages or at least answer your phones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic service. Wandered in for a table for two for lunch on a busy day and didn’t feel like we were a burden. Lovely staff and food was spectacular! Didn’t wait too long for our food either even on a very busy day. Well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for dinner. Ordered the surf n turf plus some sides for the family. Food was okay, nothing special. The salt and pepper squid looked delicious however was super rubbery and hard to eat unfortunately. Service was fast. Would stop in here for a beer and chips but probably not a family meal again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, staff kept us appraised of the progress on our order. Regularly checked if we wanted more drinks and the restaurant was in immaculate condition. 10/10 would grab some bites and brews again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice environment, good views if you're upstairs! Drinks are not bad, food is, well, average. A bit of variety would appeal to a broader group of people. It wasn't a bad time, but I'll probably try around and see where I settle. Best thing? I could actually hear myself think!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views to the beach, friendly welcome downstairs as we came in and upstairs seating us, really felt welcome. The drinks and food were delivered in good time. We ordered the meaty platter and thought the taste was not as tasty as previously but still very good - it comes down to personal preference. One of our favorite restaurants in Orewa, will definitely go back and can highly recommend it ? ?
