★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, friendly staff, food is always good, however I notice the ' what we're spicy fresh scones ' are scones that are made on mass up to the day before, therefore loose the freshness. This may have been done to ensure that there are enough scones, it takes away from what
' Cocoa Black ' were, which was a niche, FRESHLY made FOOD café!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So lovely every time I go there, cheese scones are the best in town and recently tried the chicken toasties...delish !!!! The coffees are always hot and perfect strength and I really like the staff that work there now. I have gone here a lot over the years and sometimes the staff used to be a bit un interested with customers. I guess the great staff there now are down to the management and the owner is really nice, friendly and attentive. I will be back again next weekend :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a meal with avocado that was extremely far from ripe (I couldn't cut it with a butter knife). I was surprised it was served this way, especially since it had to be cut before plating (and should have been caught).
I didn't bother returning it as I was having such a lovely time with the group I came with. Hopefully by leaving all the avocado on my plate, the manager noticed.
