★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asked for medium got rare and tasted like it had been cooked on a dirty grill, the salad I got, was I believe an extra 3.5, just a couple of leaves. I also got some desert called something mess? Overall food was a mess.

Drinks select better than average, typical pub menu but enjoyed what we had. The stars here are the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot to sit in the sun and look across the water. Staff are friendly and efficient and while their menu is fairly standard pub fare it's all done well and at a reasonable price. Perfect place for a nice breakfast, social lunch or pint at the end of the day. Well worth checking out.

The roast pork was really nice, good price, friendly staff, however ... We waited 45 minutes for a simple (meringue, ice cream, whipped cream) dessert when arrived was small and not worth the wait, sad to say.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's so rare to find such a good value restaurant at such a popular strategic high value location on Taurangas esplanade. Sunday roast was just perfect then we treated ourselves to a delightful tricked up banana split desert. Service fast and friendly. Highly recommended!!!
