★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The drinks are exceptional but the food and nibbles very much less so. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient and there is a good vibe. The music isn't too loud that it makes it hard to have good chats. Awesome outdoor seating in the summer!

Went to a Meet The Brewer evening with brewer from McLeods Brewery. $25 for the night which was really good value. Speaker gave us an outline of the brewery vision then detailed descriptions of the seven excellent beer tasters we enjoyed. The Barrel Room provided nibbles in the form of various fresh pizzas.
Good service, great pizza, fantastic beers.....all in all, a very informative, enjoyable night out.

Have to say, this is the only pub (with less than 20 pumps) that I've been in that has two APA's on tap.
Stewart the owner just brought me a McLeod Pale Ale to taste. Nice chap!! Nice beer!
