Bought a multipack of muffins yesterday. Two of them were supposed to be blueberry. My son and I had one each, and there was only one lonesome blueberry in each muffin. How tight can you get. C' Mon bakers, give us what we are paying for!

Extremely disgusted and disappointed! I was at Countdown - Lincoln Rd, Henderson between 6:10pm to 6:40pm today (24/02/22). I informed a female staff I have forgotten a item and if she could help and bring the item from the aisle for me as I scan the rest of my items. She started abruptly and rudely searching through my grocery bags which was insulting and making it seem like I was stealing groceries (please note: I only had 4 items in the bag) and I did not realise the other two items were not scanned properly when the barcode was presented. Quite odd, however I apologised to the female staff for the system error for the two items that were not scanned properly and offered to scan the items again. She rudely told me to go and get my missing item from the aisle and started to scan all my grocery without my consent at a self- checkout section. I received a text message and a call from my friend whilst getting the missing item - where my friend notified me that her sibling (who lives with her) has been tested positive for Covid-19. She was very concerned as she has been in physical contact with me and was aware that my immune system is not the greatest as I have ongoing health issues. I was upset by this information my friend had provided to me. Once I became aware of this matter, I quickly informed the female staff (Indian lady) who was scanning all my items at the self- checkout section. She did not believe me and accused me of not scanning/ stealing my grocery items. She made a scene by telling me that I was making excuses and trying to get away with not paying for my groceries. I was shocked by her behaviour after quietly notifying her regarding the covid-19 situation while an elderly customer was standing behind me. I was more than happy to pay for my items, however the female staff rudely told me to get out of the store in front of other customers whilst I was trying to do the right thing in terms of health and safety for others by leaving the store immediately without coming in contact with anyone or any object as a courtesy to not expose anyone to health risk that may have been posed by Covid-19. I can assure you I have been fully vaccinated and had my booster shot earlier this year but I cannot guarantee if I could be potentially carrying covid-19 virus in my body (I do not feel unwell but I did not want to take any risk for the safety of others). I informed the supervisor - Dylan in person before leaving the store and called Lincoln Rd - Countdown to explain the situation again to them as this is a serious matter that should not be taken lightly in order to protect others from the spread of this virus. However, the staff treated this matter as a joke and treated me with such disrespect. I offered to display the text messages and call record from my friend to the female staff as evidence before leaving the store to treat this matter seriously but she refused to believe me. I simply could of carried on shopping at the supermarket and not inform anyone of this information and left with my groceries after paying - however I did not do such awful thing as it would have put others at risk but yet was made to feel extremely horrible and insulted by the staffs especially (female staff - Indian lady). Please note: I am not being racist to the staff by mentioning she is an Indian lady - it is the only way I could possibly describe her from her appearance behind the mask. I truly hope the higher authority/ management team takes serious action towards this female staff who ignored the health and safety protocol for covid-19 where she may have risked the health and safety of other customers by treating this matter as a joke and lacked significant amount of customer service skills. Such a disgusting behaviour! I had to write an email to Ministry of Health - Covid Response Team and to Countdown Support Services to encourage them to handle this matter accordingly. I sincerely apologise to all customers who were at Countdown at the same time as me. Please take care and be safe!

Located on Universal drive the countdown store is big and has all the grocery items you need. Everything is available with multiple varieties. For every season and festival they do have different offers. So always look their website for more details.

Hard to find things in the aisles it dose not make sense were things are in this shop. NOT SAFE If you have a disability. No room in the aisle and that makes it hard to move. I don't feel safe with my disability in this shop. Staff around the shop are not friendly and not that helpful. Sale price are not up and when they are they are not updated.

23/04/2022 1:00pm: This review if for Countdown Pharmacy Lincoln Road. I wish I can give ZERO stars. I was facing severe back pain and visited them to buy prescribe medicine. There was no customer and I was the only one standing at counter and waiting for them to attend me. 2 of the staff members were chatting in back area and laughing without noticing the front area. I am not racist but it's always good to inform who is not doing their job properly and getting paid for not doing anything. 1st person asian wearing white coat stayed at the back n other one was indian with thick beard. After waiting for a minute and saw them laughing I ring service bell at the counter. I showed my prescription and after 30secs looking at.. he told me to wait for 10mins. I asked him the reason that why do I need to wait? He doesn't have any answers and say you just need to wait if you need tablets. I asked him the question: Are you going to make/manufacture ? tablets or something in back area. He laughed and said same thing "If you need medicine you need to wait for 10mins" which is rediculous and with no reason. I left after our conversation. I think my fault was to ring service bell and disturb their laughing mode. Not a good customer service.

Didn't have some of the items on my list and some shelves empty as well as some freezers however, I put it down to supply issues again due to Covid effects. This countdown store is still one of my favorites so I'll be returning.

Have tried delivery with them twice already because we couldn’t go out as we’re isolating. Quick and efficient. The minimum $50 and extra fee for delivery and bags is unecessary spending though, but it is what it is. Appreciate the help nonetheless ?

Hi, I work here at countdown and I am using a different email so I don’t get in trouble. Honestly with cases above 13 thousand can we please stop packing bags. Please I’m so scared of coming to work with such high number of cases and having unwashed bags thrown in my face. I have talked to my manager but she says that nothing can be done. This is honestly a risk to team safely we already have staff cases in stores and I have no other way of contacting countdown management to get things done. Will also be emailing.
