But really wanted to try dry fishing and figured a guide was the way to go. Instead of spending hours fumbling around with little or no result. This was money well spent. With many fish hooked and landed. And some missed with me being over enthusiastic with the strikes. " God save the queen " ??‍♂️ Jason was really helpful with my son and didnt just treat him as a passenger for the day , with him accounting for half the fish landed. Personally felt like I was fishing with one of my old mate's. The half time lunch spread was outstanding also. We will definitely be going on another excursion this coming summer. Well I was not disappointed we fished local lakes by boat sight fished rivers and also rafted which was a first for me certainly able to cover a vast area. I will use Jason again and found his rates reasonable and he was very knowledgeable and obliging and loved a bit of a laugh from the West islanders .

But I found them not enough as they are only theory. So I had to find another more hands on way to learn. This is when I used Jason's guiding service's (a number of times this year). And they have taken my fishing ability and results to another level. He has a very good way of teaching you, the things that make all the difference. This also builds up your own confidence to get out and try new techniques that would have taken me years of learning by myself. I can't recommend his guiding service's enough.
