About Cuchi Furniture
For over eighteen years Cuchi has been gracing New Zealand homes with beautiful, well-made furniture for inspired antipodean living, with a nod to the nomadic and a dash of luxury. Cuchi began importing ‘Old Java,’ a collection of reclaimed teak furniture from an Englishman based in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2003, and have continued to evolve the collection of unique pieces in our industrial-style showroom in Parnell, Auckland. Today Cuchi is a destination for elegant and effortless home living.
Our philosophy is simple: we aspire to roam far and wide to piece together unique, top-quality homeware collections that inspire individual home styling for discerning indoor and outdoor living. The quality of our product hinges on integrity, reflected in our commitment to work with sustainably-resourced solid timbers and natural fibres wherever possible, to insist on exceptional craft and design, and to collaborate with our suppliers and manufacturers so we continue to provide honest value for product through competitive pricing.

โ โ โ โ โ Terrible communication including 3 false etas given over the 16 week delivery time. Unwilling to admit any fault, and very arrogant. Seemed so nice when were shopping for our couch. Shame they couldn't maintain that once sale was made.

โ โ โ โ โ We purchased an outdoor table which we noticed was cracked upon arrival. We emailed the showroom swiftly with photos highlighting the crack on the table. Cuchi acknowledged the damage yet it's been 3 weeks and after countless emails and calls, we still haven't received our replacement table (as promised by Jeremey, the owner of Cuchi).
Jeremy has terrible communication skills and has absolutely no understanding of customer service. The crack in the table has worsened over the last 3 weeks as it sits in the rain. We are unsure if we will ever receive a new table. It's a real shame as we love their furniture. If you thinking about purchasing from Cuchi, do not expect them to follow through on replacements or compensation for any damaged goods.

โ โ โ โ โ Purchased a table in July. Was told it would arrive in November. Then December. Then "confirmed" January. Then a "hard date for February". Now maybe March. I understand the supply issues the world has but it is the fact every time it is us having to contact them and having the same conversation. If they know a date has changed then they should contact the customer.... Not wait until a "hard date for delivery" upon which we need to find out what is going on and be disappointed again when we have to call them. Literally the worst service I have ever had from any company and that is not hyperbole. Zero stars. Don't purchase anything from cuchi unless you want your time wasted, patience tested and your expectations not met.
