โ โ โ โ โ Worst car rental ever. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Hired car for 10 days, car starts running funny after third day. Ask for replacement, offers tiny car that does not replace the 7 seater that was hired. Then blames driver for damage done to the car which was likely already existing in the car. Then charges my credit-card while the claim was being disputed without any warning.
The price might be cheap but comes with a lot of fish-hooks, but not worth the risk. I wouldn't believe the good reviews here as my experience has been nothing but the worst. I wouldn't be surprised if the people that gave good reviews are somehow related to the business owners.

โ โ โ โ โ Last week me and my husband reached Auckland, NZ for a vacation. We hired a car from Express Car Rentals. Really, they provide us a great service. The Car was very clean and car driver was very friendly. They make our holiday affordable. I'll definitely recommend my friends and relatives to choose rental car from you guys. Thanks.

โ โ โ โ โ Express Car Rentals provided us with a Nissan Sunny, which was an amazing car to drive down south to Rotarua and back up the next evening.
Ash provided me with great customer service, easy-going attitude and straightforward instructions (this was my first time renting a vehicle). The paperwork and payment was done on the day which i came to pick up the car which was also an easy process and took 10-15 minutes.
There is a $200 bond attached to the car rental cost per day (e.g $30/day) and in my case, 2 days + $200 bond, in which the company will require your debit card/credit card details for the transaction to be made to your account for security reasons.The $200 bond which was credited has returned to my account after 7-10 working days, which helped me confirmed that the reliability and trust of the company was there.
The vehicle was returned to Express Car Rentals, after inspection, Ash let me know that everything was perfectly fine with no damages done to the car which was great, which left me with great memories of my trip and also the trust that i can give to this company for the vehicle. Thank you

โ โ โ โ โ I needed to confirm my xmas holiday booking and have been trying for four days. They don't answer emails or phone calls and the booking system does not work so I assume you are out of business?... I have cancelled my booking.
GO rentals 2 minutes away on 165 Beach road have both cheaper prices and better cars, Very disappointing, wont be back

โ โ โ โ โ Thought everything was fine, now back in Canada and charged $200 to my credit card a week after the car was returned for no apparent reason. Trying to get in contact with the owner but cant get a hold of him. Beware giving your credit card information to these people.
REPLY TO OWNER: Bond is not for false claims against people who aren't able to defend themselves because they have left the country. If you want to accuse me of damaging the cars maybe you should actually look at the car after I returned. Your incompetent staff damaged the car when they drove it back to your shop from the airport and blamed me, which then you charged my credit card without contacting me at all beforehand. Criminals.
I am so happy i contacted to credit card company for fraudulent claims to my card from you guys... and I actually won. It was a fraudulent claim and the credit card company caught you guys red handed.
Joke of a business. Just con artists disguised as mechanics.

โ โ โ โ โ We would like to compliment you on the fabulous service we received this weekend when we collected and dropped of our rental car. Everything was exactly as we were told it would be. We were collected quickly from the airport and the paperwork was completed quickly and efficiently. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. They are all a credit to the company. The car was pretty good too.

โ โ โ โ โ I rented a Mazda Demio for 2 weeks. The booking process was a breeze & customer service was excellent. The car was in excellent condition too. Very happy with the Express Car Rentals. Highly recommended and I would most certainly use them again when I return to Auckland.
