★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On arrival at 3pm we found in our room a shoe. Looked under bed for maybe another shoe and couldn’t believe dust paper plastic and a m@m lolly. The hotel boasts of a exceptional clean between customers. Room so dusty with feathers and dust constantly coming from feather stained duvet, my black dress didn’t last long. We were hungry, only to discover the bar and restaurant didn’t open until 5.30 pm. Sooo disappointed as we had looked forward to this and spent a substantial amount for 2 nights. This was supposed to be our newyear treat. Sick of hearing Covid is the reason for understaffing. If that’s the case then price accordingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great hotel. Generously portioned, clean rooms. Friendly staff. A delicious cooked buffet breakfast. Great central location. The only minor negative is that there was no real view but it's just a function of where it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic place to stay, a warm friendly welcome, a beautiful clean comfortable room with plenty of space and a great view.
The bed was comfortable and it was so quiet and dark I slept so well which I often don’t when travelling.
The restaurant was able to make a meal really quickly for us as we had limited time.
I can’t wait to come back and stay again.
