And miss out on something exceptional, a traditional irish pub with a beautiful view of the mountains,
Staff and food are always amazing, grounds are beautiful and worth a walk around them... Pint in hand ?
The food is unbelievably fresh and perfectly cooked and the beer is always cold ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately wanted more. The room compared with photo, but was more dated. The water in shower was non existent and wifi... what wifi, unless you are in the pub with the kids, there is nothing and then you arw left with 2 channels 7km from town. There was a good vibe in the pub, but not so much anywhere else. The kids play area is broken. So if you like paying $200 for a backpackers then this is the place for you. Think the campers got more value for $20 dollars than the people in the hotel, motel, well no the backpackers. BIG NO No if you have kids unless you like putting all the beds together for a sleep over in a 4 x 3 m area. So much potential, but lack of maintenance and care has lost this place for most. Wont be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow what an amazing pub!! Fabulous atmosphere and lovely food! And guinness on tap! Tastes wonderful! Highly recommend this gorgeous wee place set in a beautiful garden with views of the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting this place. Great Host and Staff. Very Comfy rooms & dog friendly. Very fun atmosphere in the Bar/ function area, and yummy food. Beautiful setting Very relaxing. Will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous spot, especially if you love NZ. natural bird life. Lovely gardens. The bar has beautiful food, sticky date pudding is to die for. Patrons are wonderful people, such good company. Great big fire in the restaurant. We will definitely be back.
