★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called in here for lunch on Saturday 30 April. The staff member behind the counter hardly spoke a word to us but was very chatty to the locals. Two of our party ordered toasted sandwiches which, when they came, were just dumped on the table then the staff member turned and walked away without a word. Being visitors to the town it certainly didn’t leave us with a good impression and we won’t be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our visit today we were greeted by two lovely ladies who masterfully created a great coffee and one of the most delicious breakfasts I've eaten. The ratios of fresh and ripe fruit, and perfectly cooked bacon on our pancakes had our children's eyes wide with delight. Thankyou so very much for your friendly customer service on a busy wee morning x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is interesting to read the entries around "grumpy" staff - I found the people in here nothing but welcoming. Everyone has a bad day now and again, especially given the back-drop of Covid. I ate rosti with eggs and bacon - very tasty and well sized for the price. I had 2 coffees - they were perfectly fine. I didn't give 5 stars cos in my mind that has to be mind-blowing - but this is a very good local in Ranfurly and for those passing through - I recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here heading back north, tried the other cafe on corner when heading South, so thought best to share our spending. Wished we hadn’t, staff member behind counter really didn’t want to be there and the blueberry muffin should be called Blueberry Surprise as thats what its like when you find any blueberry in it and definitely not fresh. Got 2 stars as coffee was hot and had flavour.
