★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the side of Lake Taupo with great views. Plenty of patrons frequent the Cafe as they cycle past on the cycleway. Good indoor/outdoor dining areas with good food and beverages available.

I walked in for takeaway coffee and was served by such rudeness and disgust that I didn’t have a mask on, I explained I was on holiday and was left exemption in apartment , I have never had such a awful experience ever ! No vaccine pass no takeaway coffee is totally over the top. I walked out and took my business to Zest Cafe which welcomed me and my orders each day .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and exceptionally quick service. I had the banana mayple crepes and hubby, the works breakfast. Both were yummy. Parking is very tricky though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff, food average. As a local there is so many nice cafes to choose from that will accommodate to your requests and serve delicious food. Espresso Cove is not one of them.. Don't need to ever return to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying next door so decided to have breakfast there this morning. What a lovely place, staff were very friendly & attentive. We had 1 big breakfast & 1 classic hash stack. Came out quickly, delicious, coffees were great, nice & hot. A lovely lady checked how everything was which I appreciate they do.
Will definitely go back one day. We're from New Plymouth
