I went here 30.5.22 they said it was full and not taking anymore patients so I asked where else can I go Otahuhu or Otara but they said for me to wait and fill out a reregistration form in which I thought was stupid cause I am already registered with East Tamaki Healthcare and have been for years. I filled it out then was told to sit down and wait. I ended up going home which is 2 mins away, I get a home call to come back and was seen by the nurse, when she finished with me I went back to the waiting area, thinking I was going to see a doctor so I thought I better pay my consultation fee, only to be told I still had to go to Otara clinic. The Otara clinic were shocked that a Mangere resident had to go to them after I had seen the nurse at Mangere. I am utterly disappointed with the clinic.

Useless service not enough staff I waited for them 5 hours to be checked by a nurse then I waited 3 hours more to be checked by a doctor not happy at all. Only one nurse available where it should be two or three and two or three doctors available also, this is totally Rubbish there were one of the best local doctors now they are just useless and rubbish

Very poor service at Mangere branch. The website says they close at 8 pm l was there st 7.05 they didn’t see me and asked me to go to Middlemore. Receptionist said doctor has stopped seeing patients. This is the fault of the organisation. So many clinics have have closed due to shortages of staff. It used to be great before this new management took over.

I am writing with much disappointment and anger towards the way we were treated tonight. We traveled to Mangere from Takanini to see our local doctors. Traffic was at its peak and yet we continued to travel the distance. Upon arriving to the Mangere clinic, we were greeted by the reception advising that they are no longer taking patients and for us to either go to Middlemore Hospital or return back in the morning. I found this quite rude as I had mentioned, what happens if patients are really sick and chooses not to go to Middlemore. As I was looking around the clinic, it didn't seem as busy as other times. There was one other including my husband that was turned away.  The time was 5:20pm and already we were refused. They had advised that they are no longer taking patients. We have been dedicated patients with The Local Doctors for many years. The Local Doctors Management know that this is a busy time where many get sick being winter. Why are there limited doctors when they should have a full team of doctors the whole duration they are open. This will eliminate the many frustration  patients that you have. With the way we feel at the moment, we have every right to take our payments to another GP.

So far the WORST local doctors. I booked to see my doctor in Massey branch, confirmed the appointment over the phone. I received the text confirmation a day before the appointment. Went to the clinic in Massey rd as planned just to be informed that doc was pulled out last minute to Mangere Town Centre. With no notification of such change and my infant in tow, I drove to Mangere Town and informed the reception. Reception didnt even apologize, made us pay the consult fee and told us nurse will see us soon. We waited patiently to see the doc. Viola! 2 hours later, with my baby tired and grumpy, I was informed that my doc cant see us as he's finished work for the day. Reception gave a very non-apologetic response, told me I can come back at 8am the next day. Receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. Talking to strangers on the street brings a more decent conversation than speaking to this clinic's receptionist. Management is highly lacking for neglecting to inform my doc's booked patients of the sudden change. 2 hrs was wasted out of my time plus a tired and grumpy baby who was exposed to all sorts of bacteria and virus while we were waiting on the qeue. Apart from us, how many more people had to wait for nothing that day? If not of the good doctor Samir, I would have withdrawn my registration from the local doctors due to that incident.

First time coming here I was told to wait in the car which is fine, but then I vomitted because of the headache, ended up being seen 3 hours after I registered with them, and the first thing the doctor noticed was how bad I was and said I needed to go to the emergency. Second time I went back for the same issue and they told me to wait in the car again, I said I live nearby so I'll wait at home and they said they will give me a call. Never got a call and when I call the customer service line to find out what happened as I was literally rotting in bed for a few days not being able to walk, they came back to me and said because I've seen them a week prior I am no longer in the queue, and said if I want to be seen I should go in first thing in the morning, but they don't consider how it may be difficult for someone who is unable to drive due to their ongoing symptoms and having to wait for someone to drive them there, and the long standing and waiting is unbearable for people like me having such symptoms. Absolutely disgusting management style with the pick and choose priority, all patients should be seen regardless if they go in everyday or month, unless the patient has no medical issue which will be acceptable but they can see my history and know that I may need medical attention.

The wait is atrocious. I arrived at 8am without eating my breakfast as I thought I could finish early. There were not much people when I came, however, it took me six and half hours to see the doctor and I was never warned that the wait would be that long. That's how bad the service is. And the system or process employed is very bad that I have no way of knowing whether I came first and being served last, as I have seen people arriving and being served immediately than myself, who showed no sign of being in a worse condition than myself. This boggles my mind, especially when I heard that no appointments were being accepted over the phone when the nurse answered several phone calls. No patient deserves this unbearable circumstance. I hope management will do something to improve their services to the people of Mangere.

Once upon a time it was easy to go to my "local doctor " now.... for the whole of Mangere and Mangere East, Bridge, there is only 1 local doctors. Come on ?? airport oaks clinic has closed supposedly for vaccinations!!!! No one goes there. Mangere Bridge is permanently closed. So everyone flocks to Mangere town center. The wait times are absolutely long. The clinic doesn't close till 8pm and the staff walk around shooting the breeze while people are waiting inside and outside to get seen. No wonder people cuss at at the staff.
